
The She Shed moves out of the ground. Talk about some massive pieces of lumber! Two 16' long skids that are a full 6" by 6" thick. Brad had to notch the skids to fit the 6x6 galvanized post bases as you can see in these photos. Nothing is going to mess with this solid foundation!

| Laying out joists |
As you can see, we laid the joists out in their respective positions. I wanted to mention that Jamaica Cottages's kits does a great job of marking the pieces in the kit.
The joists were marked "C" for crown so you knew which end to install towards the top. Even the skids were marked where each joist would be nailed. Talk about making the job much easier and faster!

| The blocking is in place. No blocking is required under the porch - the front two sections. |
After we finished the joists and blocking, we laid the electrical conduit out to see what was going to be required for trenching. We will be renting a Ditch Witch trencher for that project.
