It's been awhile since I last wrote, but things haven't been at a standstill. I am writing this from inside my cozy, beautiful office. The (electric) fireplace is burning while it is cold and windy outside. My warm, knotty-wood interior with the mountain views out the windows make work a pleasure rather than a chore.
Brad built a walkway to the front porch on a gradual incline. It probably isn't noticeable from the photo, but he installed hardware cloth along the edges to the ground to keep out critters (think snakes and skunks).

Next came furnishing my office with my desk, fireplace and all the items needed for working and making it comfortable. One of the things I love most about my office is that I am not sharing my office space, so I can keep it clean and organized, which is how I work best.

We'll work on the landscaping come springtime. In the meantime, I am really enjoying working in my lovely, new office.
